Many of them are eager to learn about the situations and recovery of the overseas market especially on the impacts of the automotive service sector, consumption and behaviors of the consumer end.

In this light, we have invited experts of Europe and the Middle East automotive aftermarket to reveal the current market situation and give an outlook on the demand in the second half of this year. An exporting manufacturer will also share their know-how for the ways to find out target exporting markets, turning the “crisis” into “opportunity”.

Fueled by the increase in car ownership and car sales, the automotive aftermarket in China has been undergoing rapid growth. At the same time, the adoption of the industrial Internet has accelerated new players from OEMs, parts manufacturers, e-commerce platforms, insurance companies to compete with the traditional players in the auto parts supply chain, yet its service quality and efficiency still have rooms to improve.

The automotive aftermarket consolidation is accelerated especially during the outbreak and leaves many weaker players out of the market. Meanwhile, many digital platform based operators are extending their reach to the chained stores in a bid to offer end-to-end service to their customers. In recent years, the connected commercial vehicle has become the R&D hotspot. In March 2020, the Chinese government has proposed a "new infrastructure" plan which further supports the development in this area. 

Automechanika Shanghai has invited experts, scholars, and practitioners from eminent associations, vehicle companies, and tech firms to discuss the developments of the connected commercial vehicles from the perspectives of market policy, business landscape and economy.
