Robert (Bob) L. Galyen, Former CTO of CATL



Bob is an Energy Storage technology executive with experience in large corporations (ATL, CATL, Magna, Delphi, GM) and small entrepreneurial businesses (Tawas, Indy Power Systems, World Energy Labs). He recently received the prestigious China "Friendship Award"​ in 2015 and received the title "National Distinguished Expert"​ from the Peoples Republic of China Government Talent 1000 Plan in 2014. Bob used to be the CTO of Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Limited in NingDe, Fujian Province, PRC. 

Frank Liu, Liaison Officer China, PIB HyNed



With over 15 years of work experience in automotive and new energy industry, have successively worked in well-known state-owned enterprises, industry associations, research institutes and foreign enterprises. Currently serving as Liaison Officer for PIB HyNed, assisting Dutch hydrogen and fuel cell companies to seek project cooperation opportunities with Chinese domestic governments, universities, research institutes and enterprises.

KIM Hyoung Mi,Sales & Strategy Director of Enel X Way



Miss Kim achieve master's degree in International Development Economics from Harvard Kennedy College and economics from the University of Rochester.  She used to carry out energy and power system related projects in organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme, the Energy Economy Research Institute, and the Natural Resources Conservation Association. Now, she responsible for the development planning of Enel X Way domestic business and assisting domestic enterprises in cooperating with Enel Group overseas;


Branda Xu, Senior Manager, Investment Promotion, Germany Trade & Invest



Branda Xu, Senior Manager for investment promotion, joined Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) Shanghai Representative Office in November 2019. For 4 years, Ms. Xu has been focusing on new energy vehicles and batteries, as well as the green energy technology industry. She has assisted and coached a large number of Chinese companies in advancing their plans for greenfield investment in Germany and has been providing professional consulting services for them.

Mr. Li provides strategic consulting and development solutions for numerous customers in the automotive industry, including battery lifecycle management and energy replenishment system design. Before he joined Deloitte, he worked for manufacturers such as Jaguar Land Rover, SAIC Group, Volvo, and Jixing, serving as the head of departments such as strategy and digitization, user experience, and value-added derivatives, And has previously served as the head of brand and user operations on internet and travel platforms

Liu Ning, Vice President & General Manager of Phinia Aftermarket

Ning Liu has a wealth and diversified experience in general management of P&L, commercial, IT, engineering from diversified industries.  He is currently Vice President, Asia Pacific PHINIA Aftermarket, and prior to that was President of Sales and Marketing, Greater China for Penn Engineering.
In 2007, Ning joined Panduit Corporation as Chief Technology Officer Asia, and then was appointed Sales Director, China in 2009. Since 2012, Ning spent 5 years at TE Connectivity as Sr. Sales Director for Data and Device BU Asia Pacific and America.

Focusing on fuel cell technology, fuel cell system technology, hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, hydrogen transportation, hydrogenation and hydrogen use, with rich experience in the whole hydrogen energy industry chain, is also a member of the technical specification of China's hydrogen station (GB 50516-2010) writing team. Called the leader and promoter of hydrogen energy industry, he has participated in the Beijing Olympic Games, Shanghai World Expo and other fuel cell vehicle demonstration operation projects, and has been deeply involved in the hydrogen energy industry for more than 20 years.

Mr. Cao graduated from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018 with a doctor's degree in chemical engineering; From 2018 to 2021, he went to the University of Maryland in the United States for postdoctoral research. He returned to Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in January 2022, was promoted to associate researcher in January 2022, and was promoted to researcher in October 2022. Selected as a "Zhang Dayu Young Scholar" by the National Special Talent Plan Youth Project and Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics.

With 13 years of working experience in automotive industry, covering both OE market and Aftermarket. Joyce specializes in supply chain analysis, opportunity identification and assessment. Joyce has initially led component and technology research in China since 2010, later moving on to lead a team of 11 analysts in China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand. Since 2020, Joyce’s responsibility expanded to include Aftermarket, where she was in charge of leading product innovation in aftermarket. She lead the product development of AftermarketInsight, which is aim to help aftermarket players capture new business and enhance supply chain management.

Liu Qian, Director of SSRC Research Division, she also holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from Nankai University. Visiting scholars at the Marx Planck Institute and Leibniz Institute in Germany from 2017 to 2018. She is an expert in sustainable standards research and consulting at the Ministry of Finance, and an external expert in green and dual carbon occupational technology labeling at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. As the deputy editor in chief of the Chinese side and jointly released the first progress report on green finance in China with UNEP FI, the policy recommendations of the lead author have been adopted or approved multiple times by the Ministry of Finance and the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

Mr Ji has made a lot of reserach on the key physical and chemical processes and formation mechanisms of atmospheric composite pollution and the synergistic effect of carbon emissions and air pollution and other scientific issues. He has carried out field comprehensive observation research and technology research and development on atmospheric composite pollution and greenhouse gases. It has made a number of innovative achievements with independent intellectual property rights in the accurate measurement of key pollutants and greenhouse gases, ozone and particulate matter sampling equipment and online automatic monitoring technology, as well as the integration of multi-technology methods in super stations, the source analysis of air pollutants and the "carbon source" and "carbon sink". It has provided scientific and technological support for the country to solve major problems such as environmental pollution, climate change and ecological impact.
