Zhu Shaopeng, Deputy Director of Power Machinery & Vehicular Engineering Institute of Zhejiang University

PhD, associate professor, deputy director of the Institute of Power Machinery and Vehicle Engineering of Zhejiang University. Dr. Zhu has been focusing on the research of distributed drive control for new energy vehicles for more than ten years. The developed distributed drive control system has been applied to buses in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Fujian, and other places to serve the people. The new book "Hub Motor Distributed Drive Control Technology" published in 2022 establishes the theoretical foundation and technical system of hub motor distributed drive control.

Mr Fang started work in Shanghai Automobile Gear Works in 1986. Appointed as technician, assistant of manager of design section, manager of design section, vice manager and manager of research and develop center, vice director and director of technology development department and assistant of general manager successfully. Joined SAIC Motor Technical Center in 2007 and was successfully appointed as deputy director and global director of transmission department. Responsible for the development of transmission and driveline system. Solved transmission’s bearing capacity, NVH issue, gear shift quality improvement. Current Chief Engineer, Drive Systems, SAIC Commercial Vehicle Technology Centre since Sep. 2002.Served as Member of the Committee of experts of China Automobile Industry Association. Member of China Automobile Gear Standardization Committee .Member of the Technical of TMC and CTI.

Zhao Zhiguo, Professor of School of Automotive Studies of Tongji University

 Zhao Zhiguo is currently a Professor and doctoral supervisor in the school of automotive studies at Tongji University, Shanghai. His research interests include powertrain system control of new energy vehicle and dynamics control of intelligent electric vehicle etc. He has authored over 200 journal papers including over 60 SCI journal papers by the first author or corresponding author. He is a co-holder of more than 60 patent applications as the first inventor. He has published one translated work, participated in the compilation of four textbooks and one engineering manual. As the first completion he has won one second prize in the Technology Invention Award of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering. In addition, as the main completion person, he won one First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, one Second Prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, and two First Prize of Shanghai Teaching Achievements Award.

Mr Huang has over 15 years R&D experiences on E-drive system in EV industry.Previously led the R&D of third-generation In-wheel motor system, as well as the customization and industrialization in top global wheel motor companies. As a member of standard working group, led drafting of wheel motor group standard and in-wheel motor roadmaps of energy saving and new energy vehicles 2.0. Currently leading R&D of high-speed multi-in-one edrive systems for passenger cars, and commercial vehicle eaxle systems. Have rich experience in R&D of low-speed direct drive, high-speed edrive systems, and application of distributed drive systems. Have practical experience from design to mass production of edrive systems.
