Automechanika Shanghai continues to build a platform that reflects the evolving landscape of the automotive industry. Both the exhibition and its conferences and events will showcase current market dynamics and highlight the industry’s evolution toward an interconnected ecosystem designed to power the future of connected, electrified, and intelligent mobility. Bringing these themes and features to life, the show will have dedicated areas and zones spotlighting next-generation technologies and the alignment of global industry standards. Taking place from 2 to 5 December 2026, Automechanika Shanghai will gather 7,600 exhibitors across 390,000 sqm of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

What began as the electrification and digitalisation of the passenger vehicle has rapidly matured into a broader technological evolution. Today, automotive manufacturers are taking decades of proven expertise to integrate hardware, software and embodied intelligence to pioneer new services, usages and modes of transportation across the broader mobility ecosystem. Automechanika Shanghai reflects this evolution under the theme of ‘Automotive+’ at the fairground. Under this umbrella, attendees can join a series of matchmaking events to learn how exhibitors’ products and systems can be commercialised, with a deep dive into precision manufacturing, quality control and scalability of production.

For example, with ADAS solutions that combine machine learning and physical AI technologies for both higher levels of L2 and L4, QCraft partners with more than ten Chinese carmakers, with systems already installed in over one million cars across 40 models. The company also powers robo-vans, buses, and taxis in various cities throughout China.

Another illustration is Tieliu, which is leveraging its capabilities in transmission systems and high-precision component manufacturing to expand into new fields like solid-state batteries for EVs.
